Tier One Mobile Tactical Intelligence (MTI) Team Concept of Operations

MTI Teams will function to significantly expedite the flow of perishable intelligence into the battlespace and exponentially increase the ability of Task Force and coalition units to action intelligence.  Our primary mission is to increase information flow on insurgent and IED networks, devices, tactics, techniques and procedures, and serve to mitigate effects of insurgent and IED operations on the battlefield.  Use of a units organic aviation assets will assist with MTI personnel’s freedom of movement on the battlefield, enabling team member access to forward operating bases (FOB) and tactical interrogation facilities to debrief insurgent high value individuals (HVI), as well as, IED facilitators/makers and train FOB personnel on emerging enemy TTPs.  Our professionals recognize the importance of Biometric collection and strive to deny the enemy anonymity required for their IED builders and emplacers in your area of operations by using the latest technology and collection methods. 

This effort comes in large part to streamline intelligence flow of insurgent network and IED related intelligence to the units conducting forward operations.  Relationships with battlefield commanders are essential to the success of this program, as is the continued open communications between previous established Counter Insurgency Targeting Program (CITP) and Combined Explosive Exploitation Cell(s)

Tier One Human Terrain Mapping

Tier One Counter Improvised Explosive Device Training Concept of Operations

Effective training begins with individuals who know the problem set.  Tier One professionals have first hand battlefield experience dealing with ways to mitigate improvised explosive device (IED) construction, emplacement and operation in your specific theater of operations. 

Our training program will ensure your people have the most current and up-to-date information pertaining to IED tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP); prior to setting foot in theater.  We will use a combination of classroom and hands-on training to introduce individuals to the most current TTPs currently employed in their battlespace and ways to mitigate exposure and effects of enemy IED operations.  

TOP G’s mission doesn’t end when you deploy; our personnel make the rounds circulating the battlefield to ensure you receive the latest enemy TTPs.  Finally, we encourage post deployment after action sessions to get a gauge on the effects of our training program and utilize the session to pass along the most current enemy TTPs for your deploying brethren.

Classroom Course curriculum includes the following:

Introduction to Devices

Introduction to enemy TTPs

Discovering enemy cache locations

Ways to mitigate exposure

Outdoor Course curriculum includes the following:

Hands-on current IED devices (initiation, simulated main charge, camouflage etc…) 

Red cell actions:  Individuals (groups of 10-15 personnel) will utilize current enemy TTPs (specific to their AO) to emplace multiple devices in a number of differing scenarios.
